Who we are
This policy is issued by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME, e.g. Liberty Gulf Management Solutions W.L.L.], a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain under Commercial Registration No. [CR NUMBER], with its registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain] ("Liberty Gulf", "we", "us"). Liberty Gulf is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
We process personal data in accordance with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) (the "PDPL") and its implementing regulations.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you submit the contact form we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the division your inquiry concerns (property, infrastructure, or software), and your message.
WhatsApp. If you choose to contact us through the WhatsApp link on this site, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp and is additionally governed by WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. We receive the phone number and profile information you present there.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and request timestamps. We use these for security and to keep the site operating.
Product demonstrations. The product previews on this site are our own platforms embedded directly; interacting with a demonstration does not create an account or submit personal data unless the demonstration explicitly asks for it.
How we use your information
We use the information above to route your inquiry to the correct division and respond to it; to maintain a record of correspondence relating to actual or prospective business; to operate, secure, and improve this website; and to comply with legal obligations that apply to us in Bahrain.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use the information submitted through this site for advertising.
Legal basis for processing
Under the PDPL, we process personal data where you have consented (by choosing to submit the contact form or message us on WhatsApp); where processing is necessary for steps toward entering into or performing a contract with you; where we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing this website that does not override your rights; or where processing is required to comply with an obligation under Bahraini law.
Sharing and disclosure
Personal data may be shared within Liberty Gulf between the divisions needed to answer your inquiry, and with service providers who host or support this website and our communications, acting on our instructions under confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose personal data where required by Bahraini law, regulation, or a binding order of a competent court or authority. We do not otherwise disclose personal data to third parties.
International transfers
The PDPL restricts transfers of personal data outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. Where our hosting or service providers process data outside Bahrain, we do so only in a jurisdiction permitted by the Personal Data Protection Authority, with the Authority’s authorisation, or with your consent, as the PDPL requires. [CONFIRM HOSTING LOCATIONS AND TRANSFER BASIS WITH COUNSEL BEFORE PUBLICATION.]
Data retention
We keep contact inquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any business relationship that follows, and afterwards for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months — confirm] unless a longer period is required by Bahraini law. Server logs are retained for [LOG RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 90 days — confirm]. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit, access limited to those who need it, and hosting with providers that maintain recognised security controls. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will act in accordance with our obligations under the PDPL.
Your rights
Under the PDPL you have the right to know whether we process your personal data and to access it; to request correction of inaccurate data and blocking or erasure of data processed in breach of the law; to object to processing for direct marketing; and to withdraw consent you have previously given, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Cookies and analytics
As currently deployed, this website does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and its fonts are served from our own infrastructure rather than a third-party font service. Any cookies that may be set are strictly necessary for the site to function. If we introduce analytics in the future, this section will be updated before that change takes effect. [ENGINEERING TO RE-CONFIRM AT EACH RELEASE.]
Children
This website is directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and the PDPL’s provisions on children’s data are respected where they apply. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page records the current version, and material changes will be reflected there before they take effect.
